Sangria is certainly the most famous appetizer, the wine drink cocktail originally from Spain. I’m sure all of you have already tasted sangria at least once in a lifetime. There are many recipes,from region to region, the most used is with red wine, with a high concentration of alcohol, really ful-bodied. In fact drink responsibly! 😉
Besides the main ingredient, that is the wine, the others are: peaches, lemon, orange, rum or brandy, sugar, cloves, cinnamon and soda water.
For this fresh recipe I used 1 bottle of sparkling rosè wine, 3 peaches, 3 apricots, 3 cloves, a little bit of sugar and a little bit of cinnamon. A delicate mix, very fresh and a little spicy.
The secret for an excellent sangria is to leave the bowl in the fridge for all the night or at least 6 hours and to serve very cold. Equally important made with love. 😉
In conclusion all my friends have tasted my sangria this summer. For a dinner with friends do your own sangria, use the wine you love the most and the fruit you like. Just surprise them all!
