Hello my friends!
As soon as the weather begings to warm we need to escape from work, from the daily routine. So I decided that may is the month for a family getaway by the Lake Garda, I used booking to find our holiday home at Peschiera del Garda, Del Garda Village. The accommodation type that I choose was Bungalow I Pini, surrounded by the greenery of the campsite’s most relaxing area, just a short stroll from the swimming pool. You can also book on delgarda.it
In our first day we explored the park Natura Viva that is divided in two main areas: the Safari Park, in which the visitor stays in his vehicle, and the Fauna Park, which is for pedestrians only. An amazing tour among the African animal species, a journey into biodiversity. For more information visit parconaturaviva.it
In the second day we head to Gardaland Park to meet Prezzemolo, Gardaland Resort’s mascot and to discover the many attractions from fantasy to adventure. We enjoyed the Transgardaland Express, Prezzemolo Magic Village and his tree full of surprises, Kung Fu Panda Academy, especially for the little ones on the Fantasy area. We loved the Jungle Rapids, Ramses: Il Risveglio, I Corsari and Colorado Boat. The only area we mised was the Adrenaline, with little children not yet 😉
The third morning we stoped to visit Gardaland Sea Life Aquarium and discover some of the most beautiful creatures that live in the fresh water and seas of the planet Earth. Watch for the timetable to see the spectacular sharks feeding and the amazing kingdom of the sea lions. More on visitsealife.com and gardalandsealife.it
Finally, the last day we did the tour of the lake by car, there are 160 km of take breathing panoramic view. We start from Peschiera del Garda, in the Veronese south eastern corner of the lake, driving through the historic centre of the town you will see parts of the medieval fortress. Head west out of town the road will take you to Sirmione, a 4 km peninsula, one of the most popular destination, where you can visit The Sirmione Scaligero Castle. A great place where we had a pic-nic by the lake was Golfo di Salò. We stoped many times along the way to admire the panoramic view and to take beautiful pictures.
For the happiness of my husband and all the bike lovers there is a great news from turismo.it, the lastest project “Garda by Bike”, more than 140 km of cycle path around the biggest Lake in Italy, Garda Lake, a breathtaking ride available within 2021. We are all waiting impatiently. Until then take a look of this amazing guys, the team from gardaonbike
